G.D MISHRA INSTITUTE OF HIGHER STUDIES( GDIHS), Buxar is a ‘Teacher’s Training’ college under the aegis of the LORD BUDDHA EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION SOCIETY. The institution believes in the Lord Buddha’s Marg of eliminating darkness of illiteracy by enlightening with the lamp of education and knowledge. The college is located in the lap of nature on the south-eastern part of the historical city of Buxar, encompassed by the river Ganges on the northern side. Buxar was chosen by Lord Rama to bring the social change through his knowledge, discipline, devotion and love. He succeeded in establishing a society with high moral standards.
