Kamargaon College, which falls under Tribal Sub-Plan of Golaghat District,was established in 1972. It is situated at Kamargaon under Bokakhat Sub-Division of Golaghat District of Assam at a distance of 400 mtrs. towards North from NH 37. In 1971, some enlightened persons cameforward to establish a college at Kamargaon considering the need of the community. People of the locality joined hands with them and Kamargaon College came into existence in July, 1972. Kamargaon College is affiliated to Dibrugarh University and included in the list of the institutions under section 2(f) and12(b) of the UGC Act and accredited latest by NACC in 2011 with Grade B.
Library : The college has a well-equipped computerized library. The library has a management committee to monitor its various activities. The library has Reading Room, Book Bank facilities, inter library loan facilities etc.
Computer Lab: Keeping in view the growing importance of computer learning, the college has established a well-equipped computer lab to keep the students abreast with the latest computer knowledge. It can accommodate 20 students at a time.
Language Lab: The College has a language lab which can provide facilities to 20 students at a time for practicing language skills.
Canteen:The college has a canteen which provides Assamese traditional, Indian and Chinese items to the students, teachers and the stuff at a reasonable price
Hostel Facility
The college has a well-built women’s hostel within the campus to provide accommodation to the rural girls’ students with a view to improving the academic status of the neighboring back ward society.
