Established in 1981, SARAIGHAT COLLEGE is the only institution of Higher Education in greater Changsari area .With 116 students and a small contingent of 8 teachers along with 2 non teaching staff this institution come into operation on 21st july 1981.Initially it was only an institution of intermediary Arts-Courses.The college was brought under the 'deficit Grant-in-Aid' system and the 'Government Provincialized ' status on 25th march 1998 and 1st January 2006 respectively .T
