Shivalik Educational Trust Society, Saharanpur resolved to establish a teacher education institution namely Shivalik Institute of Education (SIE) at Saharanpur and the resolution to get translated into concrete reality during October 2004, of course, after receiving recognition from National Council of Teacher Education Jaipur and affiliation from Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut.

Library: The Institute library has 4051 books, 1335 Titles and subscribes 8 reputed educational journals. It is open on all weekdays except Sundays and State holidays.There is a separate reading room in library with carrels for individual 50 students
Computers: The Institute has a total of 5 Computers comprising of 4 Desktops and 1 Laptop.
SIE campus has the requisite number of classrooms, auditorium, laboratories: Psychology, Educational Technology and Language Learning, Teaching Aids room, Store, Staff room, Principal's room, Girls room and a library for transaction of B.Ed. curriculum and programme.
