Maharani Girls Engineering College is the rational culmination of a great grand dream, painstaking research and development. The institution was established in 2009 with forethought to cater to the growing needs of higher technical education for WOMEN, in the country. The institution offers B. Tech. Programs in various disciplines of Engineering and Technology, exclusively to Girl Students, in order to provide them a competitive edge and a unique niche in the society, thus, bringing them at par with their male counterparts.We at MGEC are determined to create such conducive environment with updated technological inputs and latest information to facilitate the students with a positive and pleasant feel in acquiring knowledge and cognitive psychometric skills required to make them globally competitive technocrats. The institute also aims at creating healthy linkages for the upliftment of the community in its neighborhood to fulfill its social obligation, with the active involvement of the team of faculty members and students, so as to enable the students to develop themselves into responsible and accountable citizens.
Labs: The Institution has established all the required laboratories having all futuristic facets. We have highly developed and well-advanced Computer Labs with latest computers connected through LAN and Internet. State-of-the-art Laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, EEE, E & C, Mechanical Workshop and Language Lab are fully equipped with the latest and modern equipments as per prescribed syllabus of Rajasthan Technical University, Kota.
Auditorium: The institution will soon have a very spacious and well-resourced Auditorium with all modern amenities to cater the needs for holding lectures, conferences, seminars, symposiums, presentations, functions, celebrations etc. since we believe in meaningful interaction between our students and leading experts from specialized fields. A very spacious well-resourced hall with sufficient capacity to accommodate a large gathering is already underway.
Sports: We have excellent sports facilities Table Tennis, Badminton, Volleyball, Basketball, Hockey, Cricket etc. Keeping in view the physical and holistic development of the students, MGEC is determined to organize a sports week every year.For the overall personality development of the students, MGI provides facilities for all indoor and outdoor games. The campus has huge and well-maintained grounds for outdoor games.
Transportation: In order to provide a great degree of comfort and convenience to the students to commute from far-flung areas, MGEC provides facility of best transportation from every nook and corner of the city. MGEC proudly owns a fleet of busses and they ply to almost all the parts of Jaipur to bring the students safely to college and drop them back. Students are expected to be disciplined in the bus. They should willingly accommodate the students of a particular route.
Library: Library is considered as heartthrob of any institution. We have very spacious and well-stocked library with wide range of Books, Journals, Manuals, Study Materials and Magazines. It has a collection of thousands of Volumes and numerous titles of books and journals. Our Library also subscribes to a number of professional and scientific journals to facilitate research-oriented teaching-learning process.
Hostel Facility
Hostel Facilities Available: Hostel is spacious, well furnished and self-contained with all modern amenities including ultra-modern air-cooled rooms on double-sharing basis along with abundant supply of hot and cold-water; round the clock and uninterrupted electricity supply, supplemented by our own high power generator. Excellent quality of foodstuff is served to the students in the Hostel Mess.
Placement Service Available: The Training & Placement Cell of our institution plays a ivotal role n counseling and guiding the students for their successful career placement which is a crucial interface between the stages of completion of academc prigram of the students and their entry into the suitable employment.In programs like mock interviews, group discussions, pre-placement talks, interactive sessions with industrial experts, case studies etc. and Personality Development programs covering communication skills, presentation skills, career planning etc., and Personality Development programs covering communication skills, presentaion skills,carrer planning etc., in a regular basis to enable the students to acquire the necessary traits to become saleable to industries.
