The college was established by some enthusiastic social workers of the Hindaun City. Consequently a educational samiti naming Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru Smriti Shiksha Prasar Samiti Was registered in the year 1968 on 19th April and the same year the samiti applied for B.Ed. Course on 5th August 1968 to the Rajasthan University & this college naming Nehru College of Education came in existence. At the time of registration the famous industrialist, Bankers, Mines Owner of the area Late Pt. Kanhiya Lal Tiwari was first president of this society & Om Prakash Sharma is secretary of this society till this date. Along with other 7 members at the time of registration. Since that this institution was imparting education in B.Ed. course to the student of this area since 1968 i.e. from past 40 years and in the same year. A land measuring about 3 hectare was purchased by the society.
Class Room Facilities: There are sufficient well-furnished class rooms with numbers of furniture. There is arrengement of sixty students in each class room.
Science Lab: There is well-furnished science laboratory, which consist modern equipment of physics, chemistry, biology and other science subject in science lab.There is proper supply of air, water, electricity and safety apparatus form any accident. this can is used by pupil teacher during practice. Teaching as well as for their practice in science practical.
Psychology Lab: There is a Psychology laboratory in the college premise in which various kind of Psychological test (Verbal and non-Verbal) and apparatus are available in adequate amount.The use of these test are compulsory for the pupil teacher. Psychology lab is well furnished with well furnished furniture and adequate numbers of Psychologist?s pictures.
Education Technology Labs: There is modern well-furnished education technology lab in which modern electronic teaching aids like TV, VCR, VCD, Tap Recorder, public address system are available in adequate amount. there is also language learning facilities and modern teaching aids for various teaching subjects. There is also arrangement of overhead projector with transparencies and our craft material to represents various skills in teaching by pupil teachers.
Sports: There are facilities of all indoor games as well as outdoor games for the physical and mental development of pupil teachers. There are seprate playground for Bolly-Ball, Bedmenton, Football etc.
Library: There is big well-furnished library with adequate furniture & fixture . The library includes about 12596 books on education, literature and science. 450 Reference Books and 35 Encyclopedia.There are about twenty five hundred text book and five hundred books on various teaching topic.Other important books like Dictionary, General, other relevant books and NCERT surveys.
Computer Lab: There is a well-equipped computer Lab. Which consist number of computers and both types of printers i.e dot matrix and Laser printer. Computer lab with modern facilities like internet, printer and media player. There is arrengment for twenty students to do practical at a same time.
Music Room: There is well equipped music room. With all the instruments and related litrature is availabl in Cd, VCD, Cassettes of Bhajan, Folk Song, Regional Songs, National Anthem etc.
Hostel Facility
Hostel Facilities Available: Well furnished and with adequate facilities separate hostel for boys and girls with proper accommodation and mess facilities is also available which is managed by the society. For all boys and girls student, teacher along with warden residence are available.A separate new One Stored building for STC and NTT Programs has been already constructed in B.Ed. primness. It has 22 rooms ad Three halls according to NCTE/University norms. One office & two toilets separate for both boys & girls.
Pure Deinking water facilities is available in the campus along with water coolers.
