Arya Kanya Posgraduate College Jhansi, established in 1962 was the only seat for Higher Education in the entire Bundelkhand Region for Girls / Women. In the year 1963 the college was affiliated with Agra University. Then After establishment of Kanpur University it was affiliated with Kanpur University. At present, after the establishment of Bundelkhand University in the year 1976, the College is affiliated with Bundelkhand University Jhansi(U.P.) which is NAAC Accredited University. The result of College remains 95-100 percent since 1962 till date. More details are given below.
Library: There is a good collection of books of different subjects in the Library. The Library is enriched with recently published books. In the Reading Room, besides the Daily News Papers, Fortnightly and monthly Magazines are also available. Local, state and national news papers are also available in the Reading Room. The college has its own software for computerized books record.
Sports: College has qualified and trained teachers for different sports like badminton, vollyball, table tennis, hockey etc. These sports are conduted in the supervision of incharge teacher. College has achieved prize in many sports.
