Shaheed Hasan Khan Mewati Government Medical College, is situated on the outskirts of Nuh in Nalhar in Mewat district of Haryana state in India.Established in August 2012, SAHEED HASAN KHAN MEWATI GOVT MEDICAL COLLEGE, NALHAR is the Medical College of Haryana and the first in the Distt of Mewat. Presently It admits 120 students for MBBS course every year. SAHEED HASAN KHAN MEWATI Hospital is the affiliated teaching hospital and has about 500 beds equipped with all modern facilities.The SAHEED HASAN KHAN MEWATI GOVT MEDICAL COLLEGE under the Department of Medical Education, Government of Haryana. It is affiliated to Pt. B.D. Sharma University Of Health Sciences, Rohtak, Haryana, and recognized by the Medical Council of India.Shaheed Hassan Khan Mewati Hospital is located at a picturesque setting, merging with the foothills of Aravali range of mountains.
Central Library: SHKM, Govt. Medical college's Library is a modern Library meant to fulfil the information needs of students, Research scholars, Faculty and staff of various Departments of the college. It is housed in a fully air conditioned single story building. The magnificent library building is centrally located within easy reach from all the Departments, hostels and residential areas. The college Library building has a total area of 19566 sq. Ft. The Library has two reading halls with total capacity of 320 seats. One reading hall with a seating capacity of 150 has been provided with journals, newspapers and magazines are displayed. Besides reading area in the library, it also has a separate reading room where students can also bring their own books to study with the seating capacity of 150.
