D.A.V. Mahila College made a real humble start under the direct control of D.A.V.College Managing committee with only a few girl students on its rolls in the first batch in 1970. In 1976 Sh. Murari Lal Ji, a leading businessman who had firm faith in the teachings of Swami Dayanand and ideals of Arya Samaj donated Rs. 1.25 Lac to name the college after his mother’s name.
