Maruthi Polytechnic College has been started in the academic year 1996-97. This Institution is situated at 13th kilometer from Attur on Salem – Chennai Main Road [NH-68]. The main Objective of starting this Polytechnic College is to impart technical education to the people from rural area an create qualified technicians in our country for the needs of expanding industrial growth in the light of globalization. The Polytechnic College maintains a high order of discipline and academic excellence and al the Students admitted are required to strictly observe the norms, rules and regulations of the institution and they must be prepared for a very hard and disciplined life.
Hostel Facility
The Institution runs its own hostel for boys and girls separately. The hostel is fully equipped with the required furniture and recreation facilities. Water supply is available for 24 hours. The mess is run under dividing system. In addition to the mess bill, the students have to remit the following amount at the time of admission to the hostel.
Scholarship Facility
The Student may apply for the following Scholarships according to their community and income of the parent.
1.
Tamilnadu Governments Scholarships to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe for the eligible students.
2. Tamilnadu Government Scholarship to Backward Class (MBC/ DNC, BC) for the eligible students.
National Merit Scholarship based on state Merit, other scholarship granted by State & Central Governments.
All the final year students are given a good exposure to career opportunities and Higher studies. Our Institution has a good contact with the out gone students and help them in job / Higher education opportunities.
