Admissions will be made through a Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced). Only the top 1,50,000 candidates (including all categories) who qualify in Paper - I of JEE (Main) are eligible to appear in JEE (Advanced).

Candidates are expected to have MTech/ME in CS with 70% marks (65% for SC / ST) or 7.5 (7.0 for SC/ST) CPI/CGPA on the scale of 10. (Applicants must mention their performance (marks/grade obtained/projects done) in the courses related to his or her research interest).

Must be CSIR-NET or GATE or JEST qualified. OR Highly motivated B.Tech. students from other engineering disciplines with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) or a CPI/CGPA of 6.5 (6.0 for SC/ST) out of 10 may also apply. Such applicants must have a valid GATE score in Physics or their own discipline.
