Only certain categories of departmental candidates who are employed as Assistants or Stenographers’ Grade ‘C’/Grade II of these Services or as Cypher Assistants Grade II of Cypher Sub-cadre of the Indian Foreign Service Branch‘B’ are eligible to apply for this examination.
Educational Qualification - No specific educational qualification prescribed.
Age - limits: No age limit prescribed. The examination is confined to serving Central Government Employees working as Assistant in the Assistant Grade of the Central Secretariat Service. Railway Board Sectt. Service, Intelligence Bureau, Armed Forces headquarters Civil Services; or Stenographer Grade-C of the Central Secretariat.
