Important Dates

Anna University- Centre for Distance Education's Chennai invites application for admission to MBA/ MCA/ M.Sc Degree Programmes for the academic session 2021.

Programs Offered

A. Master of Business Administration (MBA)
(Offered at Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Nagercoil, Trichy, Villupuram) with following specializations, subject to admission of a minimum number of candidates in each programme / specialization in the study centre concerned.
(i) MBA-General Management
(ii) MBA-Technology Management
(iii) MBA -Marketing Management
(iv) MBA-Human Resource Management
(v) MBA -Financial Services Management
(vi) MBA-Health Services Management
(vii) MBA-Hospitality and Tourism Management
(viii) MBA-Operations Management

Eligibility :

• A pass in any Bachelor Degree.* and
• A pass in Distance Education Entrance Test (DEET) conducted by the CDE, Anna University, Chennai / Valid TANCET 2021 score card.

B. Master of Computer Application (MCA)
(Offered at Chennai only)

Eligibility :

• A pass in any Bachelor Degree.* and
  The candidate should have studied Mathematics/Statistics as one of the subjects at the degree level or Mathematics at HSC level. and
• A pass in Distance Education Entrance Test (DEET) conducted by the CDE, Anna University, Chennai / Valid TANCET 2021 score card.

C. Master of Science (M.Sc.) Computer Science
(Offered at Chennai only)

Eligibility :

• A pass in any Bachelor Degree.*
• The candidate should have studied Mathematics/Statistics as one of the subjects at the degree level or Mathematics at HSC level.
• Candidate applying for admission to M.Sc.(CS) programme will be called for admission during September 2021.

ENTRANCE TEST

Distance Education Entrance Test (DEET) will be held twice in a year, i.e. Academic Year (AY) Batch and Calendar Year (CY) Batch. DEET scores are valid for one year only.

Separate Entrance Tests will be conducted for admission to MBA and MCA Degree Programmes. There is no Entrance Tests for admission to M.Sc. Degree Programme.

How to Apply

Blank application form can be downloaded from the web-site 'annauniv.edu/cde' and the same may be filled. The completed application along with the demand draft for Rs.650 drawn in favour of "The Director, Centre for Distance Education, Anna University payable at Chennai. The Demand Draft must be obtained from any Nationalized Bank on or after the date specified in the advertisement, along with a self addressed post card should be sent to The Director, Centre for Distance Education, Anna University , Chennai - 600025 so as to reach on or before the date specified in the advertisement. Please write your Name, Communication Address, Application Number and Mobile Number on the reverse of the Demand Draft.

NOTE :

• The present list of Study Centres is available at the institute web site. Study Centres will be operated in the cities where there are sufficient number of candidates.
• Candidates who have appeared / appearing for the final year / semester exams are also eligible to apply for admission but they have to produce a copy of the relevant Provisional / Degree Certificate at the time of admission, along with other documents.
• The list of Study Centres shall be known at the time of admission.

Notes :

Please take printout and go through the "Information and Instructions to Candidates" before you download and fill the application form. It is important that printout of all the five pages indicated below should be taken and filled in at appropriate places. This only will give complete set of application form. If any pages are missed the application shall be thoroughly rejected
