The Entrance Examination for admission to first year of the following courses offered at the Institutions affiliated to AKTU, Lucknow including other mentioned universities situated in territory of Uttar Pradesh for the academic year 2022-2021 shall be conducted by Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow.
Eligibility to Appear in UPSEE 2022
For admission to the first year of B.Tech /B.Des./ B.Arch. / B. Pharm. / BHMCT / BFAD / BFA /MBA (Integrated) /MCA (Integrated)
The subject combination required in the qualifying examination (intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent) for admission to first year of different courses shall be as follows:

* For admission to first year of B.Tech. (Agriculture), candidate must have clearly passed intermediate examination of U. P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University in agricultural subjects and secured minimum 45% marks without grace (40% marks for SC/ST category candidates) in aggregate. All Eligible candidates for B. Tech. First year are also eligible for B. Tech. Agriculture.
For admission to first year of B.Tech./B.Pharm./B.Des./MCA(Integrated), candidate must have clearly passed intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University without grace in required each compulsory subjects and one optional subject as given in above clause and securing minimum 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST Category candidates) in aggregate in required three subjects.
For admission to first year of B. Arch., a candidate must have clearly passed intermediate examination of U. P. Board or 10 + 2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University and securing (i) minimum 50% marks in aggregate and (ii) clearly passed without grace, each compulsory and optional subjects as given in above clause
A candidate possessing three years Diploma in Architecture (10+3) recognized by Central / State Govt., is also eligible for admission to first year of B. Arch. only, and provided the candidate has passed the Diploma examination securing minimum 50% marks in aggregate without grace. Such candidates will have to appear in the entrance examination for first year of B. Arch. Paper 4
For admission to first year of B.Tech. (Agriculture), candidate must have clearly passed intermediate examination of U. P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University in agricultural subjects and secured minimum 45% marks without grace (40% marks for SC/ST category candidates) in aggregate. All Eligible candidates for B. Tech. First year are also eligible for B. Tech. Agriculture.
All candidates who are eligible for admission in B. Tech. Courses are also eligible for B. Tech. (Agriculture Engineering) and B. Tech. (Biotechnology).

EXAMINATION DETAILS
UPSEE-2022 will be conducted for eleven papers with objective multiple type questions except Drawing Aptitude test (Part B of paper 4). Paper-1, Paper-2, Paper-3 and Paper-4 are the OMR based paper while rest of the papers are Computer Based Tests (CBT). The exam is of 3 hours
