WBJEEB will conduct a one-time OMR-based Common Entrance Examination (WBJEE-2026) for admission to Undergraduate courses in Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy, and Architecture for the 2026-27 academic session in various universities and institutes across West Bengal.

WBJEEB will conduct OMR based Common Entrance Examination (WBJEE-2026) for admission into Undergraduate Courses in Engineering & Technology, Pharmacy and Architecture of different Universities, Government Colleges as well as Self Financing Engineering & Technological Institutes in the State of West Bengal for the academic session 2026-27.

Eligibility criteria for appearing in the WBJEE-2026

Citizenship: Applicant must be a citizen of India or OCI (subject to approval of the Competent Authority). OCI candidates will be eligible for only Unreserved seats in the All-India quota.
Candidates must have passed the 12th standard (10+2) or its equivalent examination before 2026 or appearing in the 12th standard (10+2) or its equivalent examination in 2026.
Age Restriction:
i. The lower age limit is 17 (seventeen) years as of 31.12.2026. A candidate should have been born on or before 31.12.2009. There is no upper age limit for appearing in the examination.
ii. However, for admission to the degree-level Marine Engineering Course, the upper age limit is 25 Years as of 31.12.2026.
