Applications are invited for the Entrance Examination for admission to Integrated Five Year LL.B Course for the academic year 2024 in the Four Govt. Law Colleges in Kerala and Private Self Financing Law Colleges, which enter in to seat sharing agreement with Government of Kerala.
Eligibility
(i) Nativity: Applicant should be an Indian citizen of Kerala Origin.
(ii) Academic qualifications:
(a) Candidate should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala or any other examination
recognized by the Universities in Kerala as equivalent thereto.
(b) A candidate who has passed an examination in 10+2 Course of schooling
recognized by the educational authority of the Central or State Government or possesses such academic qualifications which are considered equivalent to such 10+2 course by the Bar Council of India can also apply for admission to the course. Applicants who have obtained +2 Higher Secondary pass certificate or first degree certificate after prosecuting studies in distance or correspondence method shall also be considered as eligible for admission. The applicants who have obtained 10 +2 or graduation/post graduation through open universities system directly without having any basic qualification for prosecuting such studies are not eligible for admission.
(c) Candidates who are appearing/ appeared for the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply for the Entrance Examination. Such candidates become eligible for admission only if they produce the Pass Certificate and Mark List of the qualifying examination at the time of admission.
(d) No candidate shall be admitted to the Course, unless he/she has passed the qualifying examination with a minimum of 45% marks. However, candidates belonging to Socially and Educationally Backward Classes need only 42% marks and those belonging to the Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes need only 40% marks in the qualifying examination. No rounding off of percentage of marks to the nearest higher integer is permitted.
(iii) Age: There is no lower age limit for admission to the Three year LLB programme. The upper age limit for admission to the Three year LLB Programme will be subject to the decision of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India. In case if age restriction under clause 28 of Legal Education Rules, 2008 of Bar Council of India is reinstated, only those candidates within the stipulated age limit will be allowed to appear for the Entrance Examination.
Entrance Examination
A candidate desirous of joining the Three Year LLB Programme in any of the
Govt. Law Colleges of the State or in Government Merit seats in private
self-financing law colleges of the State will have to appear for Entrance
Examination. The admission to the course
will be based on the rank of the
candidate in this Entrance Examination, unless otherwise specified in the
prospectus. The Entrance Examination will be conducted on the date and time as
notified by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations.
The Entrance Examination shall be a Computer Based Test (CBT) of two hours duration and will consist of 120 objective type questions in (a) General English (36 questions), (b) General Knowledge (27 questions), (c) Arithmetic and Mental Ability (15 questions) and (d) Aptitude for Legal Studies (42 questions).
Application Fee:
Application fee for General and SEBC candidates is Rs.850/-(Rupees Eight hundred and Fifty only) and in the case of SC/ST candidates and those eligible for SC/ST benefits as per G.O (Ms) No.25/05/SCSTDD dated 20.06.2005 is Rs.425/- (Rupees Four Hundred and Twenty Five only).
Centralised Allotment Process (CAP) and Online Submission of Options
The Centralised Allotment Process (CAP) will be done online to give allotment to the Three Year LLB programme. Candidates will be allowed to exercise their option for courses/ colleges as per their ranks in the Computer Based Entrance Examination for admission to Three Year L.L.B programme-2024 conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations. The allotment of courses/colleges for the General Merit and reservation categories will be strictly in accordance with the rank list and category lists mentioned in clause 12 above.
Publication of Results
The rank list for admission to the programme will be published on the basis of the total marks secured by the candidates for the Entrance Examination.
Procedure for applying online
All candidates seeking admission to the programme should apply online through the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations.

There are 5 steps for the online submission of application and all the steps are mandatory. Candidates should complete all steps and the candidates are advised to keep a softcopy or printout of the Application Acknowledgement page for future reference.
