The National Law University Delhi, established in 2008 by Act No. 1 of 2008 of Delhi is a premier Law University in the capital city of India. The University invites online applications for admission to Undergraduate and Postgraduate for the Academic Year 2026-27.
Undergraduate Programme
Eligibility :
Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2 system) or an equivalent examination with 45% marks (42% in case of OBC and 40% for SC/ST). Candidates appearing for the 12th standard annual examination in 2025 are eligible to apply.
Number of seats:
B.A.LL.B.(Hons.) Programme
Total Seats :
110+10 (110 seats on AILET merit; 5 seats each for Foreign Nationals and OCI/PIO for direct admission on merit). Foreign Nationals/OCI/PIO are exempted from AILET but should have 65% marks in the qualifying examination.
Postgraduate Programme
LL.M. (One Year) Non-Residential Programme
Eligibility:
LL.B. or an equivalent law degree with 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST/ Persons with Disabilities). Candidates appearing for the final year LL.B. annual examination in 2025 are eligible to apply.
Total Seats :
70+10 (70 seats on AILET merit; 5 seats each for Foreign Nationals and OCI/PIO for direct admission on merit). Foreign Nationals/OCI/PIO are exempted from AILET.

TEST CITY
AILET-2026 will be conducted at the following cities:
Ahmedabad, Asansol,
Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin, Dehradun, Delhi,
Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Greater Noida, Gorakhpur, Gurugram, Guwahati, Gwalior,
Jamshedpur, Haldwani, Hisar, Hyderabad, Jabalpur, Jaipur, Jammu, Jodhpur,
Kanpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Patna, Pune, Raipur, Ranchi,
Thiruvananthapuram, Varanasi and Visakhapatnam.
In case the number of the
candidates at any test city is less than 100, the test centre will not be
created in that city and candidate will be allotted test city as per their
2nd/3rd preference of test city.
ONLINE APPLICATION FEE
Interested candidates must apply online by paying an application fee of
Rs.3,000/- (Rupees Three Thousand only). The application fee for SC/ST
candidates and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) is Rs.1,000/- (Rupees One
Thousand only). SC/ST and women candidates
who are Below Poverty Line (BPL)
applicants are exempted from payment of the online application fee.
REFUND POLICY FOR UNIVERSITY FEES
1. The counselling fee is fully refunded if a candidate exits the admission
process.
2. If the candidate proceeds with admission, the counselling fee is
adjusted against the total payable fee.
3. In case of withdrawal of
admission, the entire fee paid by the candidate, including the counselling fee,
will be refunded in accordance with UGC guidelines issued from time to time.

Last date for submission of online
application form is April 30, 2026 for applications under Foreign Nationals and
OCI/PIO Category.
Further, the University will also conduct the All-India Entrance Test (AIET) for the following programmes on May 3,2026:
The detailed admission notification for the AIET 2026 will be issued in January 2026. The online application forms for these programmes will be available on the above-mentioned website w.e.f. January 7, 2026.
