Applications are invited for HP University Management Aptitude Test (HPU-MAT) for MBA admission in Himachal Pradesh University Business School (HPUBS) for the academic Session 2025.
Eligibility
Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university, established by law in India, with 50% marks (45% maks in the case of Scheduled Cast/ Scheduled Tribe candidate). The students who have completed, and are appearing for their final bachelors degree examination shall be allowed to appear in Himanchal Pradesh University Management Aptitude Test (HPUMAT). Subsidized Fee is about Rs. 13000/- approx for boys, and Rs. 8000/- approx for girls, for two years. and Non-Subsidized students have to pay Rs. 1,00,000/- per annum in addition to the normal fees.
Doctor of Philosophy (Ph. D.)
The candidates have qualified UGC-JRF may get direct registration for Ph.D programme in management studies, if other wise eligible. Ph.D submission period is minimum 3 years to maximum 6 years.
Selection
The admission is based on competitive examination which comprises of
applications ratings, Management Aptitude Test (objective type having multiple
choice Questions), Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Management Aptitude
Test (HPU-MAT) will be of Objective type having Multiple Choice Questions
(M.C.Q.). The performance in HPU-MAT is the basis for screening the candidates
for Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Normally, three candidates for each
seat are called for group discussion and personal interview.
The HPU-MAT will have four sections of
50 Questions each :-
Examination Centres
The HPU-MAT will be conducted at Shimla, Solan, Dharamshala, Hamirpur, Mandi, Una, Palampur and Nalagarh.(Note: The centre will be created depending on the number of applicants. H.P. University reserves the right to cancel any center at any time.)
