The MBA (International Business) is a foundational course for developing a competent cadre of business executives to meet the country's growing requirements for training personnel in the field of international business management. MBA(IB) is a six trimester (2 year full time) general management programme with a focus on internaional business.
Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) invites applications from eligible candidates for admission into six-trimester Full Time MBA (IB) Programme with a focus on international business for the academic year 2020-2022.
Reservations: Seats are reserved as per Government of India rules. The reservations are subject to candidates meeting the admission requirement of the Institute under different categories.
For Foreign Nationals / NRI / Children of NRIs: Seats are reserved for foreign nationals, NRIs and children of NRIs and the admission is considered on the basis of General Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) score of which should not have been declared before 1st January 2018 and should be received by the Institute latest by 15th February 2020.
Mode of Adimission:
Selection will be on the basis of Written Test, Group Discussion, Essay Writing and Interview. Written Test will be held on Sunday, 1st December 2019 between 10.00 a.m. and 12.00 noon at Ahmedabad, Allahabad, Bangalore, Bhubeneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Dehradun, Delhi, Guwahati, Hydrabad, Indore, Jaipur, Jamshedpur, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur and Visakhapatnam. Based on the marks of Written Test, a limited number of candidates will be invited for second phase of selection process comprising Group Discussion, Writing Skill Assessment and Interview to be held at Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow and Mumbai. IIFT reserves the right to add/delete any centre, if required.
Based on marks for written test, candidates will be called for Group Discussion, Interview and Essay Writing to be held during January/February 2019 at Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow and Mumbai.
For Foreign National/NRI/Children of NRI -The admission of candidates under this category is on the basis of GMAT score only. GMAT result should not have been declared before 1st January 2018 and should be received by the Institute latest by 15th February 2020.
NRI-sponsored candidates are not considered under this category.
How to apply

Candidates have to apply for IIFT MBA(IB)- 2020 ''Online'' ONLY by accessing the website https://iift.nta.nic.in/webinfo/public/home.aspx The Application shall not be accepted in any other mode. Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate. More than one application i.e. Multiple application forms submitted by a candidate will be rejected.
It is suggested that the Candidates have the following ready before starting the filling of the online application form:
On-line submission of Application Form 09.09.2019(Monday) to 25.10.2019(Friday) upto 11:50 p.m.
Successful transaction of fee 09.09.2019 to 26.10.2019 upto 11:50 p.m.

4 (Four) Steps to Apply Online for the candidates who are appearing on 01.12.2019 for IIFT MBA(IB) examination for the academic session-2020-22
Step-1: Register for Online Application Form and note down system generated
Application Number. The candidate should supply all the details while filling
the Online Application Form and is also required to create PASSWORD and
choose Security Question and enter his/her Answer. After successful
submission of the personal details, Application number will be generated and it will be used to complete the remaining Steps of the Application Form and will also be required for all future correspondence. For subsequent logins, candidate will be able to login directly with the respective system generated Application Number and created Password.
Step-2: Complete the Application Form Candidate can login with the system generated Application Number and created Password for completing the Application Form.
Step-3: Upload Scanned Images of Candidate's Photograph, Candidate's Signature and Candidate's Caste Certificate if the Candidate is applying Under GEN-EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, ST or PwD Category.
(a) Scanned photograph and signature should be in JPG/JPEG format.
(b) Size of scanned photograph should be between 10 kb to 200 kb.
(c) Size of scanned signature should be between 4 kb to 30 kb.
(d) Size of scanned Caste/Category Certificate should size between 50 kb-300 kb
(e) The recent photograph should be coloured or black/white (but clear contrast).
Note: Upload the correct Photograph, Signature and Caste/Category Certificate as the facility for correction in images will not be given.
Step-4: Payment by
Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking/PAYTM/UPI Service: The candidate has to select
Debit card/Credit card/Net banking/PAYTM option to pay the application fee
and follow the online instruction to complete the payment of fee. After
successful payment, candidate will be able to print
the Confirmation Page. In case the Confirmation Page is not generated after payment of fee then the transaction is cancelled and the candidates has to approach the concerned bank for refund of amount. However the candidate has to make another transaction, in case the Confirmation Page is not generated.
