Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) : Introduction

The Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) is a common test for the admission process at the undergraduate institutes of Symbiosis International University (SIU) established under Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956 vide notification No.F.9.12/2001 U.3 of the Govt. of India. In the year 2002, there were 3 constituent institutes of SIU. Subsequently ten more institutes of Symbiosis have been brought under the ambit of the Symbiosis International University vide notification No.F.9.12/2006-U.3 (A).

Symbiosis is known for quality education and offers an array of undergraduate programmes in Law, Management, Computer Studies, Health Sciences, Design, Media & Communication, Economics, Engineering, Liberal Arts and Culinary Arts.

SET entrance exam is for the following programmes:

• B.B.A (Honours / Honours with Research)
• B.B.A. (Media Management) - Honours / Honours with Research
• B.C.A (Honours / Honours with Research)
• B.B.A (Information Technology) Honours / Honours with Research
• B.A. (Mass Communication) Honours / Honours with Research
• B.Sc. (Economics) (Honours / Honours with Research)
• B.Sc. (Applied Statistics and Data Science) Honours/ Honours with Research
• B.B.A. (Dual Degree, Honours/ Honours with Research)
• B.Sc. (Sport and Exercise Science) - Honours/ Honours with Research

SITEEE entrance exam is for the following programmes:

• B. Tech (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning)
• B. Tech (Civil Engineering)
• B. Tech (Computer Science and Engineering)
• B. Tech (Electronics and Telecommunication)
• B. Tech (Mechanical Engineering)
• B. Tech (Robotics and Automation)

• SET/SITEEE 2025 will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
• The duration of each test is of 60 minutes.
• There is no negative marking for wrong answers.
• All sections are mandatory.

The entrance test registration fee for SET/SITEEE is INR 2250/- per test. (Non- refundable and non-transferable). In addition to that, you are also expected to pay the programme registration fee of INR 1000/- for each programme that you wish to apply for. (Non-refundable and non-transferable)

iii) Payment Through Demand Draft:

• Submit a Demand Draft (DD) from any Nationalized Bank in favour of Symbiosis Test Secretariat payable at Pune.
• Choose the mode of Payment as 'DD Payment' in "Make Payment" Tab. Take a print of the payment advice form, fill in the DD Details, sign and send it along with the DD to the Symbiosis Test Secretariat only at:

• The Symbiosis Test Secretariat will authenticate the details of Demand Draft and will send you an email confirming the payment. Only after the realization of payment, would you be able to view your Admit Card.
• Important: SET/ SITEEE 2025 fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.

Registration Details for SET Exam 2025

The Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET 2025) is a university-level entrance exam administered by Symbiosis International (Deemed University), a private higher education institution based in Pune.
The last date of registration for SET entrance is April 12, 2025 (Saturday)
The Symbiosis International (Deemed University) entrance exam 2025 is divided into 2 different tests for the various courses offered by Symbiosis institutes. The details are as below:

• SET (Symbiosis Entrance Test - General): Business Administration / Media Management / Computer Applications / Information Technology / Mass Communication / Economics / Applied Statistics and Data Science / Dual Degree / Sport and Exercise Science
• SITEEE (SIT Engineering Entrance Exam): Applicable for engineering programmes

SET/SITEEE: Application Form Registration Process

Step 1 - Visit the official website page at www.set-test.org, to register for SET 2025.
Step 2 - Fill in all of the details completely and accurately to avoid any mistakes.
Step 3 - Upload a recent scanned passport-size photo not more than three months old. Keep in mind the photo's required size as well.
Step 4 - Fee Payment: After completing the Symbiosis SET 2025 Application Form, the candidate will be redirected to the 'Payment Gateway' page, where they will select the payment method and pay the required fees.
(Note: Any changes in the online application form (except test city preferences and admission category) will be entertained only up to the closing date of registration i.e. April 12, 2025. No changes shall be permitted after the closing date under any circumstances.
No requests for a change of test city or category will be entertained once candidates have completed their online SET/SITEEE 2025 payment.)

Exam Fees For SET 2025 Applications

1. The application fee for Symbiosis SET-General and SITEEE 2025 is INR 2250.
2. INR 1000 has to be paid for each programme you choose.
3. The fee amount is non-refundable.
4. The category of candidates does not affect the fee amount.
