XAT 2026 will be conducted on Sunday, January 4, 2026. XLRI conducts test on behalf of the XAMI. For more than 74 years XLRI is conducting test at all India level to select the most appropriate candidate for management education..

XLRI Programmes

• Human Resource Management (HRM)
  In this globalized era the manager's ability to tap latent talents of the workforce is definitely a much sought after skill-set. Out much acclaimed and respected HRM program trains future Human Resource managers to shape winning organizations. • Business Management (BM)
  Shaping future business leaders as responsible and highly skilled managers is the thrust of the BM programme. The rigorous training prepares value-based managers with an integrated approach to decision-making. Drawing in on functional disciplines such as Economics, Finance, Information Systems, Marketing, Production & Operations Management and Strategic Management the programme trains enterprising manager for a sustainable future.

Eligibility

Students who have completed three years of bachelors degree or equivalent in any discipline, recognized by a university or Deemed University, are eligible to apply.

XAT 2025 would be conducted across India in the following cities

Registration Procedure for XAT 2025

Register for XAT 2026 and XLRI at www.xatonline .in You can also use your XAT 2026 score to apply for admission to various programs at XAT Associate Institutions.

1. Visit xatonline.in and click on Register.
2. Enter your name, email ID, contact details, and set a password.
3. A system-generated email/message will be sent to you. Save it for future communication.
4. Verify your email by clicking on the link provided, then proceed to complete the application process.
5. If you cant complete the form in one go, you can save your progress by selecting the SAVE AND EXIT tab.
6. Before submitting, carefully review your application and make any necessary changes.
   Visually impaired candidates should double-check the details to ensure accuracy before submission
7. Ensure your name and your parents names match the spelling in your official documents (Certificates, Mark sheets, ID proof). Any mismatch may disqualify your application.
8. Fill in your academic and work experience details.
9. Select your XLRI program preference if you wish to apply (either through XAT or GMAT).
10. Choose up to 6 preferred test cities when filling out the XAT application form. Pick a city close to your residence.
11. Scan and upload your photo and signature as per the given specifications.
12. Review the entire application form by clicking on the appropriate tabs before FINAL SUBMIT.
13. Once the application is submitted after payment, applicant details cannot be edited.
14. Click on the Payment tab to make your payment and upload any required documents.
15. Finally, click on the Submit button to complete your application.

Payment of Fees:-

XAT Registration Fee: Rs. 2200/-
Candidates interested in XLRI programs need to pay an additional fee of Rs.200/- for each program.
Indian Candidates applying for PGDM (GM) through GMAT/GRE: Rs. 2500/-
NRI/Foreign Candidates applying for one or more programs through GMAT: Rs. 5000/-

XAT 2026 Exam Pattern :-

Typically, the XAT question paper consists of two-time bound parts. The details are as follows:
Part I

• Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning (VA & LR)
• Decision Making (DM)
• Quantitative Aptitude & Data Interpretation (QA & DI)

Part II

• General Knowledge (GK)
• Analytical Essay Writing (AEW)

XAT Associate Institute

Online mode

1. The application form is integrated with the payment gateway and the payment process can be completed by following the instructions.
2. The payment can be made by using Debit Cards (RuPay / Visa / Master Card / Maestro), Credit Cards and Internet Banking.
3. After submitting your payment information,  PLEASE WAIT FOR THE INTIMATION FROM THE SERVER. DO NOT PRESS BACK OR REFRESH BUTTON IN ORDER TO AVOID DOUBLE PAYMENT
4. On successful completion of the transaction, an e-Receipt will be generated. Non-generation of 'E-Receipt' indicates PAYMENT FAILURE. On failure of payment, Candidates are advised to login again using their XAT ID and Password and repeat the process of payment.
5. Candidates are required to take a printout of the e-Receipt and online Application Form. Please note that if the same cannot be generated, online transaction may not have been successful.
6. To ensure the security of your data, please close the browser window once your transaction is completed.
