Applications are invited for Registration in the prescribed form through online mode only for the Entrance Examination for admission to the MBBS Course of AIIMS, New Delhi.
In reference to communication received from Ministry of Health & Family Welfare and several queries received in regard to MBBS-2020 Entrance Examination for year 2020, it is hereby informed that to the provisions the Section (14) of the National Medical Commission Act, 2019, provides for holding of a common and uniform National Eligibility-cum Entrance Test (NEET) for admission to the undergraduate medical courses in all medical institutions including those governed under any other law. Therefore, the admission to MBBS course in AIIMS, New Delhi, and all AIIMS like institutions will be made through NEET(UG) &will be conducted by National Testing Agency, not by AIIMS, New Delhi.
AIIMS, New Delhi will not conduct any separate AIIMS MBBS Entrance Test for AIIMS, New Delhi and all other AIIMS for the year 2020 session. Please visit website(s) www.nta.ac.in, ntaneet.nic.in for more information in this regard.

Candidates who have passed / appearing / appeared for 12th class examination or its equivalent with the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry & Biology and with 60% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates) in aggregate.
Candidates who have appeared or are appearing at the qualifying examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main subject and expect to pass the examination with required percentage of marks are also eligible to apply and appear in the Competitive Entrance Examination. However, their candidature will be considered only if they provide documentary evidence of having passed the qualifying examination with the required subjects and percentage of marks.
If the Institute has to consider an examination of an Indian University or of a foreign/university to be equivalent to the 12th class under 10+2 scheme/Intermediate Science examination, the candidates shall have to produce a certificate from the concerned Indian University/Association of the Indian Universities to the effect that the examination passed by him/her is considered by them to be equivalent to the 12th class under 10+2 scheme/Intermediate .
The minimum aggregate of the marks in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology
obtained in the qualifying examination (as in the Essential Qualification at
Sl. No. 2 of this table) required for appearing in this examination are :
General and OBC candidates: 60%
SC/ST Candidates 50% .
Those with CGPA grades only will have to apply the conversion factor in the application form. The conversion factor should be as approved by their respective examination board.
COMPETETIVE ENTRANCE EXAMINATION
The NEET (UG) - 2020 will be conducted on Sunday, 3rd May, 2020. The responsibility of the NTA is limited to the conduct of the entrance examination, declaration of result and for providing an "All India Rank merit list" to the Directorate General Health Service, Government of India for the conduct of counselling for 15% All India Quota Seats and for supplying the result to States/other Counselling Authorities
