Applications are invited for Registration in the prescribed form through online mode only for the Entrance Examination for admission to the MBBS Course of AIIMS, New Delhi and six other AIIMS (Patna, Bhopal, Jodhpur, Bhubaneshwar, Rishikesh and Raipur).

Candidates who have passed / appearing / appeared for 12th class examination or its equivalent with the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry & Biology and with 60% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates) in aggregate.
Candidates who have appeared or are appearing at the qualifying examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main subject and expect to pass the examination with required percentage of marks are also eligible to apply and appear in the Competitive Entrance Examination. However, their candidature will be considered only if they provide documentary evidence of having passed the qualifying examination with the required subjects and percentage of marks.
If the Institute has to consider an examination of an Indian University or of a foreign/university to be equivalent to the 12th class under 10+2 scheme/Intermediate Science examination, the candidates shall have to produce a certificate from the concerned Indian University/Association of the Indian Universities to the effect that the examination passed by him/her is considered by them to be equivalent to the 12th class under 10+2 scheme/Intermediate .
The minimum aggregate of the marks in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology
obtained in the qualifying examination (as in the Essential Qualification at
Sl. No. 2 of this table) required for appearing in this examination are :
General and OBC candidates: 60%
SC/ST Candidates 50% .
COMPETETIVE ENTRANCE EXAMINATION
As per the initiative taken by Director, AIIMS, New Delhi, it has been decided to conduct the competitive Entrance Examination of MBBS-2017 through a Computer Based Test (CBT) [Online] only in 2017.
Therefore all candidates will be required to appear at CBT Online Entrance Examination, which will be conducted by the AIIMS, New Delhi on Monday, the 28th May 2017 in either of two shifts (9:00 AM to 12:30 PM & 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM) as allotted. The venue, time and shift of the examination will be communicated to the candidates in the Admit Card.
No candidate will be permitted to appear in the examination unless he/she holds a valid "Admit Card" issued by the Institute and a proof of their identification.
The examination may be held tentatively at 171 cities. The centres are listed in AIIMS website. Applicants are required to indicate their 1st, 2nd & 3rd choice of city with due care and thought. The Examination Centre shall be allotted by AIIMS.
It may be noted that although AIIMS will make all efforts to ensure that the candidate is allotted a centre in the cities chosen by the applicant, due to circumstances such as lack of sufficient number of candidates, logistic, administrative and other reasons, an Examination Centre in another city may be allotted finally. Applicants are therefore required to be prepared to appear for the examination in the Examination Centre allotted to them.
The decision of AIIMS regarding allotment of centres shall be final. No further correspondence or request shall be entertained in such cases. A tentative list of cities where the Examination Centres are located are provided in the accompanying table. In addition, candidates are not permitted to change the shift allotted to them.

Foreign nationals are not required to fill up the Online Registration form
of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences. Foreign nationals who wish to
apply for admission to MBBS Course against one (01) seat under Centre Pool of
Govt. of India reserved for the year 2017 for foreign nationals (of Developing
Countries only) should contact the Indian Mission/Post abroad in their Country.
The All India Institute of Medical Sciences and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare will neither entertain requests for supply of application forms for admission nor receive applications directly for nominations of foreign candidates.
Candidate should fill in the online Application Form taking utmost care and following the instructions and help manual as given on the web .
After selecting the online registration, fill the details asked for, step by step and deposit the prescribed fee through Debit/Credit Card or in the designated Bank through a Challan. Follow the Instructions scrupulously. It will be the responsibility of the candidates to ensure that correct address in the Application Form is filled. The Institute will not be responsible for any loss in transit or for incorrect address given by the applicant in the Application Form. No candidate should register more than one application.
