Important Dates

The Banaras Hindu University offers admission to Four Years (Annual system). B. Pharma (Ay) (Self- Financed Course), at Rajiv Gandhi South Campus, Barkachha, under the Faculty of Ayurveda of the University.

Eligibility:

1. Nationality: The candidate should be Indian National.
2. Age: The candidate should be between 17and 25 years of age as on 31stDecember2024 (Age relaxation will be given as per GOI rule).
3. B. Pharma (Ayurveda) (Self-Financed special course of study): Candidates, who are Indian Citizens and medically fit in all respects i.e. Physically and mentally fit are eligible to apply for admission to above Course
4. Qualification: Intermediate / 10+2 or equivalent in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from a recognized Board.Minimum 50% aggregate marks for the General Category and EWS, 45% for OBC (non-creamy layer) and PWD (in General category and EWS), 40% SC/ST Category in written entrance examination. Those who are appearing for the qualifying examination but the results are not yet declared shall be permitted to appear in the Entrance Test. However, they will be required to submit original mark sheet of the Intermediate or equivalent examination at the time of counseling to the office of the Director, Institute of Medical Sciences, BHU, Varanasi–221005, without which their candidature for admission shall not be considered.

How To Apply

• Applicants have to apply and submit online Application Form available in BHU website i.e. https://www.bhu.ac.in/ . The prescribed Application Form will be available in the website from 12/08/2024
•  Applicants have to register to this site in order to access the Application Form. To register at this site candidate must have a valid email id. Therefore Applicants are advised to open an email account in their name, which is required and is mandatory for registration in the site. After registration to this site candidate have to select B.Sc. Nursing/ B.Pharma (Ayurveda)/ Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (BOT)/ Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) Entrance Test-2024. Entrance examination Form and fill details in the respective fields. Procedure to filling up the application form will be provided in the website
•  The duly completed filled up application form should be accompanied with entrance examination fee which is Rs.1200.00 for General/OBC category and Rs. 900.00 for SC/ST/PC category. Online payment of entrance examination fee can be through, Debit card/ ATM, credit card, Internet banking or through NEFT as per instruction given in website.
•  The last date of Submission of Completed Application Form through the website is 31/08/2024 (5.00 PM)
•  Provisional Admit Card will generated and sent to the email id of the candidate
•  If an eligible candidate does not receive the Admit Card, He/She may contact to the office of the Director Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi – 221005 09/09/2024 between 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Examination Fee:

Examination Fee of Rs1200/-for General/OBC/EWS Candidates,Rs.900/-for SC/ST/PWD category candidates to be paid online as per instructions given in online application Form.

Course Fee

Rs.50,000/ Per year + Regular fee of the University.

Original documents/certificates to be furnished during counseling for admission:

•  Admit card.
• Proof for Date of Birth (High School certificate).
• High School &(10+2)/Intermediate Marksheet &Certificate.
• Certificate for SC,ST&OBC non-creamy layer issued on GOI Format.
• EWS Certificate issued by Competent Authority.
• Adhar Card.
