Bihar Combined Entrance Competative Examination Board conducts Post Graduate Medical Admission Counselling (PGMAC)-2025 Against 50% State Quota Seats of MD / MS / PGD & PG Dental Courses based on Merit List of NEET (PG)-2025.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Candidates should have passed class 12th/ Intermediate or equivalent examination from the state board or any national board of education.
  2.  The candidates should have studied relevant science, mathematics, and agriculture subjects in the qualifying examination.
  3. The minimum age limit is 16 years as of August 31, of the examination year. There is no maximum age limit
  4. For engineering and medical courses, the eligibility criteria would be the same as for JEE Main and NEET respectively.

Admission Process

(i) Step 1: BCECE 2025 Application - Candidates interested in admissions through BCECE had to apply for the exam online. The application form for BCECE 2025 was available on the official website of the exam board. The application process for BCECE 2025 included registration, filling in academic and personal details, uploading documents and fee payment. Candidates had to pay the application fee as follows:

(ii) Step 2: Download BCECE 2025 Admit Card - Candidates who will apply for the entrance exam will be issued BCECE 2025 admit card for appearing in the entrance exam. The admit card mentions the candidates' name, roll number, exam centre name and location etc. Candidates can download their admit cards from the official website by entering their login details. Candidates have to carry their admit card on the exam day along with a photo ID as validated by the government.

(iii) Step 3: Appear for BCECE 2025 Examination - Candidates need to appear for BCECE 2025 as per the exam schedule mentioned on their admit card. The examination is offline/pen-paper-based test mode. There are six different papers for all the streams and, each paper will be for 1 hour 30 minutes. Candidates should report to their allotted exam centres at least an hour before the exam timings.

(iv)Step 4: Check BCECE 2025 Result - BCECEB will announce the results for all papers after the exams are conducted. Candidates can check their qualifying status and marks in BCECE 2025 by logging in to the official website. BCECEB will also publish separate merit lists for all subject groups basis which admissions will be offered to different courses.

(v) Step 5: Appear for BCECE 2025 Counselling - Candidates need to participate in the counselling rounds of BCECE 2025 as per the merit list. The exam authority will allot seats at the participating colleges based on the merit lists, eligibility criteria and reservation criteria. Candidates will be given a chance to mark their preferences from the list of colleges accepting BCECE 2025 scores. Moreover, candidates seeking admission to the reserved seats need to show the relevant documents at the time of counselling for verification.

Pattern Of Exam

The BCECE 2025 exam pattern states that it is a paper-pencil-based test of 1.5 hours duration each for a total of five papers - Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Agriculture , and Biology. The medium of questions was English and Hindi. The questions will be objective type with multiple-choice questions (MCQs) with four answer options. Each paper will carry 100 questions of four marks each. There will be a negative marking scheme of one mark for each wrong answer. Hence, the total marks of the paper will be 400 marks. Depending on the groups (PCM, PCB, CBA, MCA, MBA, and PCMB), the total marks range between 1200 and 1600.
