The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) at S.A.S Nagar (Mohali) created as a Centre of Excellence for imparting higher education, research and development in pharmaceutical sciences and management is the first Institute of its kind in the country. The Institute was declared as an Institute of National Importance by Government of India through an Act of Parliament, notified on 26th June 1998. The Institute is a member of the Association of Indian Universities. During the years 2007 and 2008, Government of India established six more NIPERs . Presently there are following NIPERs functioning at different parts of the country:

CRITERIA :
The Doctoral research programme of the institute is classified into the following three disciplines.
Chemical Sciences :
Includes departments of i) Medicinal Chemistry ii) Natural Products iii) Pharmacoinformatics Iv) Pharmaceutical Technology (Process Chemistry)
Biological Sciences :
Includes departments of i) Pharmacology and Toxicology ii) Biotechnology iii) Pharmacy Practice.
Pharmaceutical Science
Includes departments of i) Pharmaceutical Analysis ii) Pharmaceutics iii) Medical Devices Iv) Pharmaceutical Technology(Formulations)

APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Applicants shall apply online on https://niper.gov.in/niperjee2025 as per instructions given on the website. The process of online application shall commence from 21-04-2025 onwards and will continue till 20-05-2025 (The proposed dates are tentative, and any changes will be updated on the NIPER Mohali/ NIPER JEE website). The webpage for the online application form can be accessed through the link provided on the official website of NIPER Mohali/ NIPER JEE 2025(https://niper.gov.in/niperjee2025). The online application process comprises of following steps:

Step 3: Fill in all the details in your online Application Form
Step 4:
Preview your duly filled in Application Form
Step 5: Verify your details and
submit your Application Form
Step 6: Take the printout of the Application
Form and to submit at the time of physical counselling.
While filling out the online application form, please choose the email ID you access frequently, as all communications from the NIPER Mohali JEE Office will be sent to that email ID only (do not use anybody else’s email address). NIPER JEE office is no way responsible in case wrong email ID or mobile number is registered.
