Date for Combined Graduate Level (Tier II) Examination 2013 : 28th & 29th September, 2013
 

SSC (Staff Selection Commission) will be holding Combined Graduate Level Examination 2013 for recruitment to different posts for which Graduation from a recognized University is the minimum Educational Qualification. The Examination will comprise of two Tiers of Written Objective Type examination followed by Computer Proficiency Test/ Interview/Skill test, wherever applicable as per the Scheme of Examination. Posts have been placed in two groups, inter-alia, based on their Grade Pay and papers in Tier II examination/ Interview.

On the basis of 2nd Administrative Reforms Commission report it is now proposed to have a three Tier selection process on the basis of a single application for the posts for which recruitment is presently made through the following examinations

(a) Combined Graduate Level Examination.
(b) Tax Assistant Examination.
(c) Section Officer (Commercial Audit) Examination
(d) Section Officer (Audit) Examination
(e) Complier (for O/o RGI) Examination
(f) Statistical Investigator Grade-II (for M/o Statistics & Prog. Implementation) Examination
(g) Sub-Inspector in CPOs Examination

There will be a single application form for the combined graduate level examination. Candidates, declared qualified by the commission for admission to the written (tier-II) examination on the basis of the tier I examination, will not have to apply again. No separate notice / advertisement will be published for the tier-II examination. The result of tier-I examination, informing the qualified candidates along with the dates of tier-II examination will be published in the employment news/rozgar samachar and commission’s website.

Final selection through the Combined Graduate Level Examination to specific categories of posts would be subject to receipt of intimation of confirmed number of vacancies from the concerned Indenting Ministries/ Department/Office/Cadres before declaration of results.

Age Limit:

(i) 18-27 years for Inspector of Income Tax/ Inspector (Central Excise)/ Inspector (Preventive Officer)/ Inspector (Examiner)/ Inspector of Posts / Ass.. Enforcement Officer and Divisional Accountants / Auditors /UDCs/ Tax Assistants (ii) 20 to 27 years for posts of Assistants and Sub-inspectors in CBI. (iii) 26 years for Statistical Investigators Gr.II (iv) 20-25 years for Sub Inspectors (Ex) in Central Police Orgnisations. (v)Usual age relaxation to SC/ST/OBC/PH/ExS etc. as per Govt. orders.)

Educational Qualification:

Graduation in any discipline from any recognised Uniersity. (ii) Statistics/ Mathematics / Economics / Commerce subjects in Graduation for the post of Statistical Investigator Gr.II
