Important Dates

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, Department of Management Studies (DMS) invites application for admission to 2 years full time MBA and MBA (Telecom) Program  for the session 2022.

The Department of Management Studies was established in the year 2004 as a home to the popular Master in Business Administration course being taught since August 2001. It is the first IIT to open its doors to enthusiasts from streams other than Engineering such as B.A, B.Sc & B.Com in 2013.

Qualification :

The candidates should have

• Masters in Business Administration (MBA)
• A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent awarded by any of the universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India. The bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate must entail a minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent.
• A minimum of 60% marks in aggregate (of all the years/semesters) or 6.00 CGPA on a 10 point scale or equivalent in the qualifying degree.
• A relaxation of 5% in marks (i.e. min. 55%) or equivalent in CGPA (i.e. min. 5.50 on a 10-point scale) for the SC/ST candidates. Relaxation in criteria for PH candidates may be as per the Institute rules.
• Candidates appearing for the final year of bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply. If selected, such candidates will be allowed to join the programme provisionally, only if she/he submits a certificate by certain date.
• Those having applied to IIT Delhi MBA programmes on qualifying the CAT 2019 will be shortlisted and then invited for a WAT and interview, which will be held at IIT Delhi and IIT Madras

Selection Procedure

Shortlist for interview process will be announced by the respective institute. Only those who are shortlisted will be invited to the interview process (the Written Ability Test and Personal Interview). Shortlisted applicants will be contacted to upload copies of necessary certificates by the respective institute.

Interview process will be conducted in 5 cities: Chennai, Dhanbad, Kolkata, Mumbai and New Delhi. Applicants need to give three preferences. The Institutes retain the final right to hold or not to hold the interview process in any given location. The candidates must be prepared to be interviewed in any location notwithstanding the city preferences given by them.

The application process is common to all the three institutes. There will be only one common interview process for those who apply to more than one institute.

Final selection list will be announced by the respective institute.

Fee

MBA Admission Application processing fee is non-refundable.

Tution Fees for Indian Citizen: Rs. 9.60 Lacs for the entire MBA Full Time Programme payable in equal installments (4 Semesters)

The exact amount of fees and mode of payment will be indicated in the offer of admission for new students.

How to Apply :

Candidates can apply only through the institute website https://doms.iitm.ac.in/admission/

A common application portal is available in the website to apply for DoMS - IIT Madras, DMS - IIT Delhi and/or DMS - IIT (ISM)Dhanbad. If a candidate wishes to apply to all the three institutions, only one application needs to be submitted.

Application fee for two programs: Rs 3,200

SC/ST/PD Reduced fee for one program: Rs 800
Reduced fee for two programs: Rs 1600
