Indian Institute of Management Kashipur invites application for Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) for the year 2022.
IIM Kashipur's Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) is a full time residential doctoral programme designed to address the academic and research needs of professionals. The main objective of the programme is to provide scholars with necessary skills to identify and research complex issues in the field of management. FPM seeks candidates with outstanding academic backgrounds, intellectual curiosity and discipline needed to make scholarly contribution. The programme is committed to train individuals to excel in their area of research through publication of quality work of international standard.
The objectives of the programme are:
To encourage scholars to carry out
research in the field of management, leading to publication in internationally
reputed research journals and finding solutions of real world management
problems.
To equip scholars with necessary understanding and skills to
identify and research on complex issues in the field of management.
To
develop expertise among prospective scholars for careers in management research
and teaching and thereby to address the shortage of high quality management
faculty in the country.
The programme consists of three stages:
Coursework
Comprehensive Exam and Viva Voce
Thesis Work
Upon joining the programme, scholars will go through coursework in 6 terms spread across 2 academic years (Table 1). During this period an FPM candidate will complete 29 credit (2 credits of CIS to be incorporated) courses and one CIS/summer internship. One credit course involves 30 hours of class interaction.

Eligibility:
Candidates for the programme must have one of the following qualifications obtained from any of the universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of parliament or declared to be deemed as a university under section 3 of UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India, or an equivalent qualification from an institution approved by AICTE.
A master's degree in any discipline with at least 60%
marks or equivalent grade point average.
OR
A professional
qualification - CA/ICWA/CS with graduation degree.
OR
4 years / 8
semester bachelor's degree (B.E./B. Tech./B. Arch. etc.) with at least 6.5 CGPA
or equivalent percentage.
Work experience in industry or academics (in
reputed organizations), though not mandatory, will be given due credit in the
selection process. The work experience as full-time executives or as management
teachers in an organization/institution of repute is only considered as the
valid experience.
Those who are appearing for their final year examination in the current academic year may also apply. However, their admission to the programme, if selected, will be provisional subject to their successful completion of all requirements for completing the relevant degree before 30 June 2022 (a letter needs to be obtained by the FPM scholar from the Head of the concerned Institution to this effect) and compulsorily producing the degree completion certificates by 31st December 2020 (satisfying all the eligibility criteria). The provisional admission of any such scholar (if any) subsequently failing to conform to all the stipulated admission eligibility criteria by 31st December 2021 will be summarily terminated and no further correspondence will be entertained (monthly scholarship and any other applicable grant w.e.f. July 2020 for these candidates will be released only if they clear all eligibility criteria by 31st December 2020).

Admission Process:
Candidates seeking admission to the programme are required to submit an online application: Link 1 or Link 2 on or before 31st January 2022. The printed copy of filled application form along with necessary documents should reach the Admission Office, IIM Kashipur, Kundeshwari, Kashipur, Udham Singh Nagar, Uttarakhand -244713 on or before 31st January 2022 through Speed/Registered Post only.
A fee of Rs. 1000/- payable for the application process. You may transfer the money in Institutes account through NEFT. The required details are as follows:

During the selection process on 11th April 2022 at IIM Kashipur, the prospective candidates can plan and arrange board and lodging at Kashipur on their own if they wish so. However, IIM Kashipur will help in the booking process for accommodation at Kashipur at concessional rates if the Institute admission department (contact: Dr Vinay K Sharma) is individually contacted though actual board and lodging cost will be borne by the prospective candidate.
