Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode invites applications for its prestigious Fellow Programme in Management for the year 2022.

IIM Kozhikode began back in 1997 with 42 students in the first batch. Famous with the name IIMK, this institute is one of the best Management coaching institutes in the country.

Eligibility:

One of the following qualifications is required as basic eligibility:

• Post-Graduate degree or equivalent in any discipline (including M.A, M.Sc., M.Com, MBA, MCA, M.Tech., etc) with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA.
• Professional qualifications of CA, ICWA and CS with at least 50% marks or equivalent.
• Professional qualifications such as MBBS and LLB with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA*
• Engineering degrees, viz., B.Tech., BE, etc. with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA*
  (* for c & d above additional minimum 3 years relevant experience required for applying to Marketing Area)

Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer) and Persons-with-Disabilities will be given a 5% relaxation in the minimum marks requirement.

Those appearing for the final exams can also apply; but, their final selection will be subject to successful completion of the requirement by June 30, 2022. Their admission will be provisional till they produce the required certificates of qualification before December 2022.

All relevant qualifications mentioned above must be granted by appropriate bodies in India or abroad and recognized as equivalent.

Qualifying Examination

Except for those opting for IIMB Test, a candidate applying for FPM of IIMK should have a valid test score not older than three years as on January 15, 2022, from the date of application in any of the following tests.

• Economics - CAT, GMAT, GRE, UGC-JRF
•  Finance, Accounting and Control - CAT, GMAT, GRE, UGC JRF (in Management, Economics and Commerce only), GATE
• Information Technology & Systems - CAT, GATE, GMAT, GRE
• Marketing - CAT and UGC JRF
• Organizational Behaviour & Human Resources - CAT, GMAT, GRE, UGC JRF
• Quantitative Methods & Operations Management - CAT, GMAT, GRE, UGC / CSIR JRF, GATE
• Strategic Management - CAT, GMAT, GRE, UGC JRF, GATE

Applicants opting to take IIMB Test should choose this option in the application. IIMB Test will be conducted by IIM Banglore on February 06, 2022 at Bangalore, Kozhikode and New Delhi.
*Relaxation: Candidates holding PGDM (full-time 2 year program) of any of the IIMs or holding Executive PGDM from IIM Kozhikode are exempted from taking qualifying tests.

Selection Procedure

Candidates will be short listed on the recommendation of respective areas based on their Profile and Qualifying Scores. Such candidates will be invited for a Personal Interview (and written tests for certain areas) at IIM Kozhikode. To and fro travel expenses between the railway station at the place of residence and Kozhikode, limited to III AC train fare, will be reimbursed by the Institute. Accommodation will be available to the candidates (on concessional rate) inside campus for attending the interviews

Admission Process:

Eligibility of the participants to enroll for the programme is ascertained based on the information provided in the application form, verification of original academic/experience records on the day of test/interview, aptitude test score (EMAT/CAT/GMAT) and personal interview.

Candidates with valid CAT score^ (Min 75 percentile) or GMAT score^ (Min 650 Score) will be directly considered for the interview. Such candidates are not required to attend EMAT. ^ Score obtained should not be older than 1 year from the date of EMAT-2022  (i.e. 29th January 2022)

Candidates shortlisted for test/interview are required to submit the original academic and experience records for verification on the date of test/interview.

How to Apply:

Candidates are required to apply online through https://forms.iimk.ac.in/academics/phd/onlineapplnPHD2022/login/login.php. They can apply to a maximum of two areas of specialization. An application fee of Rs.1000/- is required (Rs. 2000/- in case you are opting for IIMB Test), which has to be remitted online through the link provided with the application form. Scanned copies of all academic mark-sheets, qualifying examination score card and category certificate are to be uploaded alongwith the online application form. Two referee recommendations about the candidate are required to complete the formal submission of application. The recommendation letter can be submitted online by the referee directly to IIMK and the link for online submission will be provided to the referee to his/her email id.
