Indian School of Mines (ISM), Dhanbad invites application for two-year full time Master of Business Administration (MBA) for the academic year 2022-24.
The M.B.A. programme follows semester based system for evaluation of students performance and is of four semester duration.
ISM offers admission in M.B.A. to the aspirants with CAT 2021 score.
Eligibility
Candidates seeking admission to M.B.A. Programme of the Institute should have
- Minimum 50% in aggregate or equivalent CGPA or CGPA/CPI of 5.0 in 10 point
scale (without rounding off) in the qualifying degree for GN/OBC candidates
o
- Minimum 45% or CGPA/CPI of 4.5 in 10 point scale (without rounding off) in
the qualifying degree for SC/ST candidates
For Honours graduates the aggregate will include marks of both Honours and Pass Papers.
Candidates appearing for the final bachelor’s degree/ equivalent qualification examination can also apply.
Selection of applicants whose results in the qualifying degree examination are not declared will be provisional, subjected to condition that all parts of the examination must be completed in all respects before the date of joining the Institute and the marks sheet/certificate as evidence of passing the qualifying examination to be submitted latest by 31st October 2021.
Seats are reserved for OBC/SC/ST candidates and physically challenged (PC) candidates as per Government of India rules. Admission to reserved category candidates will be done as per Government of India notification. OBC candidates should submit a valid OBC Certificate issued by the competent authority on or before January 1, 2022.
Selection Procedure
Candidates will be selected based on CAT score, group discussion and interview.
Applicant shall have to appear CAT - 2021. Once they receive the CAT 2021 scores, they have to apply online at the Application Submission System available at our institute’s website: www.ismdhanbad.ac.in. Candidates short-listed on the basis of CAT score will be called for Group Discussion and Interview for final selection.

Application fee for one program: Rs 1600
Application fee for two programs:
Rs 3,200
SC/ST/PD
Reduced fee for one program: Rs 800
Reduced fee for two programs: Rs 1600
The filled-in application form along with requisite fee through Demand Draft and other relevant documents has to be submitted to the Deputy Registrar (Exam & Academic), Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad-826004 (Jharkhand)
