Applications are invited for admission to the following courses offered by the schools of the Madurai Kamaraj University for the academic year 2017-2018The duration of all Certificate, Diploma, Higher Diploma and P.G. Diploma courses shall extend over a period of one full academic year (part-time).
Eligibility
1) Certificate Course in Linguistics
A pass in
Higher Secondary Examination.
2) Diploma Course in Linguistics
A pass in Certificate in Linguistics
3) Certificate Course in
Sanskrit
A pass in Higher Secondary Examination.
4) Certificate
Course in Telungu
A pass in 10th
or S.S.C.
5) Diploma Course in Telungu
A pass in Certificate course in
Telugu or Telugu as an Elective paper in M.A or attended the intensive course in
Telugu in any Institute or Educational Institution.
6) Certificate
Course in Malayalam
A pass in Higher Secondary Examination.
7) Diploma Course in Malayalam
A pass in Certificate course in Malayalam.
8) Certificate
Course in French
A pass in Higher Secondary Examination.
9) Diploma Course in French
A pass in Certificate in French OR with French
under languages in + 2 Examinations OR with One Year certificate course in
Alliance Francoise, can join Diploma course in French.
10) Higher Diploma Course in French:
A pass in + 2 Examination/Pre University course (old
pattern) with a Diploma course in French OR with Part -I French in I year in
B.A/B.Sc./B.Com Degree courses of any recognized Universities OR 2 years of
French courses in Alliance Francoise, can join Higher Diploma course in
French..
11) Certificate
Course in Christianity
A pass in Higher
Secondary Examination.
12) Diploma Course in Christianity
A pass in
Certificate in Christianity
13)P.G.Diploma Course in Sikhism and
Comparative Religion
A pass in any degree.
14) P.G.Diploma
Course in Scientific Yoga Meditation and Holistic Health
A pass in any
degree
15) P.G.Diploma
Course in Ramalinga Philosophy and Comparitive Religion
A pass in any
degree
Conduct of Classes:
Classes for all the Certificate, Diploma, Higher
Diploma and Post Graduate Diploma courses will be conducted in the
evening at the University Buildings, City Complex, Alagarkovil Road,
Madurai 625002 according to the time table.
Course Fees
Registration
Fee for all courses - Rs. 200/-
(i) For Certificate Courses - Rs.1,000/-
(ii) For Diploma
Courses - Rs.1,500/-
(iii) For Higher Diploma Courses and .G. Diploma Courses - Rs.2,000/-
For all the above courses, the tuition fees should be paid at the time of admission. SC/ST candidates are exempted from payment of Registration Fee for one course only
Examination Fees:
The
prescribed examination fee for all the Certificate/Diploma/Higher Diploma/
Post - Graduate Diploma courses will have to be paid by the candidates
at the time of submitting their examination application form.
Application Procedure
Application form can be downloaded from the University website www.mkuniveristy.org. Filled in application should be submitted along with a Demand Draft / online payment for Rs.200/-towards Registration fee drawn on any bank in favour of The Registrar, Madurai Kamaraj University payable at Madurai.
The candidates may contact the following Head of the Department in person on or before 31.10.2017 with all required certificates in original with Xerox copies for admission. The admission will be made on first come first served basis
The candidates will have to produce all the Original Certificates concerned at the time of admission.
No candidate shall undergo more than one course of study and appear for more than one examination at a time. This will not be applicable to candidates studying one full time course and a part -time Certificate/Diploma course.
The Tuition fee and other fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
