MYRA School of Business, Mysore invites applications for admission to Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) and Program in Management for Executives (PGPX) offered in various specializations for the commencing session 2022-24.
The MYRA School of Business is an innovatively designed business school established in 2012 at Mysore under the aegis of the Mysore Royal Academy(MYRA).The school’s avant-garde and architecturally acclaimed campus was inaugurated on November 4th, 2012 by Padma Bhushan Deepak Parekh, Chairman of HDFC. MYRA was founded by an educationally enlightened group of thinkers led by Prof. Shalini Urs, Executive Director, International School of Information Management and Prof. D. Shrijay Devaraj Urs, Institute of Development Studies, both from the University of Mysore, who have distinguished themselves across the academic life cycle of teaching, research, administration, and accreditation.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduation
Bachelor's degree in any discipline with 50% and above, from a recognized institution. Your subject background, extra-curricular activities, awards, and recognitions are also considered.
Selection Criteria
Applicants should have valid CAT, XAT, NMAT®, GMAT®, GRE® or MET® (MYRA Entrance Test) scores. We regard entrance exam scores as helpful indicators of academic ability and achievement when considered thoughtfully amongst other factors.
MYRA's PGDM program is AICTE approved and hence accepts CMAT scores.
Work Experience
PGDM: We prefer our PGDM students to have at least two years of experience. We believe that students bring their professional experience to the class and contribute to the cohort interactions and are able to take away more. However, we also welcome exceptionally bright fresh graduates who possess drive and confidence.
PGPX: We require our PGPX students to have five or more years of experience. This advanced program assumes foundational knowledge in general management theory as well as experience at the managerial level.
Written Essay
The statement of purpose essay forms an important basis for selection to our program. The essay should showcase evidence of leadership, professional promise, your career goals, your personality, and reasons for pursuing higher education. (Word limit: 2000)
