NAT-UG and NAT-PG Test
The Test are objective type multiple-choice answer tests using the OMR technology which has already been vetted by leading Govt./private recognized Institutions of the country. NAT-UG Test consists of 170 questions carrying a maximum mark of 170 and NAT-PG Test consists of 200 questions carrying a maximum mark of 200. The total total allotted to both these tests are 150 minutes and the questions are divided into 5 sections.

The applicant scores will be supplied to the respective opted-participating institutions for seeking admission in the respective programme. A minimum of 5 such options will be provided to each applicant. However, applicant can request SRDE for supply of scores to additional institutions by submitting a formal request in the prescribed proforma. The students may be asked by the concerned institution to appear for counseling, group discussion etc. to be fully satisfied of his or her aptitude for the programme concerned.
The NAT scores are valid for the current academic session in the curent year admission process of participating Institutions. Each Participating Institution have different weight age for different programmes. The candidates will have to follow the procedures of admission to various Participating Institutions.
