Jaypee University of Engineering & Technology, Guna has been established vide Government of Madhya Pradesh gazette extra ordinary No.3 of 2010 dated 29th April 2010 as a private university in the State of MP under the provisions of MP Niji Vishwavidyalaya Adhiniyam 2007. The university has been notified by the UGC under section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956 and Accredited by NAAC with Grade “A” in very first cycle of Accreditation in 2016. This University is sponsored by Jaypee Group.. It was earlier Jaypee Institute of Engineering and Technology, Guna, established in the year 2003 based on the MOU signed between Jaiprakash Sewa Sansthan (a not-for-profit trust) and the Government of Madhya Pradesh with an aim of becoming a Center of Excellence in Engineering and Technology in MP.
Library:The Learning Resource Center of JUET plays very important & vital role in all academic & research activities.It is fully computerized by a web based Library management software "Liberty". Users can search their desired information at their own desktop such as availability of books, current status of their account, new arrivals.. .etc through web OPAC ( Online Public Access Catalogue). At present LRC is having good collection of reference sources like hand book, standard, manuals, encyclopedia, technical reports, project reports along with the prescribed text and reference books, and national & International printed journals. Apart from printed resources LRC is also having non printed materials, CD ROMs, full text e-journals and e-books and the subscribing to 6 e-resources namely IEL, ACM, ASCE,ASME, Springer, ProQuest. L.R.C is also the member of DELNET (Developing Library Network) to avails inter library loan facilities among DELNET members through this network.
Transport facility:The University has two 52 seater buses. Transport facility is provided to students traveling on behalf of college for various seminars, sport events etc
