Nitra Technical Campus (NTC)

Northern India Textile Research Association (NITRA) is set-up jointly by Govt. of India and textile industry in 1974 on a 50 acre land at Ghaziabad near national capital New Delhi. It is registered under Societies Registration Act, 1860 (Xxl of 1860). NITRA is the only ISO 9001:2000 accredited premier textile research association in the country. NITRA is recognized by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, Govt. of India. Further, NITRA is a Centre of Excellence, duly recognized by Central Govt and State Govt. of U.P., to conduct research and training activities for the complete textile supply chain and is given funds of Rs. 43 crore to strengthen infrastructure facilities. NITRA Technical Campus (NTC) is the academic arm of NITRA set up exclusively to offer AICTE approved B. Tech and PGDM programs in Engineering and Management.

The institute campus is spread over 50 acres of beautiful lush-green pollution-free environment at Ghaziabad, a city that has fast emerged as an education hub in northern India. The institute is well connected by rail and road transport. The institute building is set up at the backdrop of picturesque green canvas. The institute has a built-up area of 1,68,000 sq. ft equipped with latest infrastructural amenities. The institute has large, well lit, airy Lecture Halls, Tutorial Rooms, Seminar Halls, Workshops, Laboratories, Computer labs, Professional Communication Lab, Central and Digital Library, and air-conditioned Conference Room with state-of-the-art audio-visual system. 
 
 Hostel Facility
The institute has on-campus 128 bed hostel. The hostel is equipped with power back-up, continuous water supply, mess-facility, cafeteria, Wi-Fi internet connectivity, elaborate security arrangements, and other amenities. Local transport, railway stations, bus terminals, banks, post-office, police stations, market place, shopping complex, parks, hospital, health clinics, cyber cafes, and other necessities of daily life is abundantly available in the nearby surroundings. 

The placement cell at NITRA provides total support in building careers by monitoring the current trends and requirements of the industry. NITRA has a clientele of over 1200 companies which also includes overseas clients, which augment the placement activities.
