In August 1994, as a constituent college of the University of Delhi, the college was tentatively named Co-Educational College, later to be rechristened as Maharaja Agrasen College, after a great Indian ruler. Catering to the educational demands of the thickly populated East , the College is today attracting the student intelligentsia from various parts of Delhi, particularly the South and East Delhi areas.
Our Learning Resource Centre is fully equipped with the latest technology and offers students access to e-journals, e-content, e-learning material and open access computing facilities. Students are encouraged to access the learning resource centre in order to hone their academic and creative skills.
Hostel Facility
Since its inception in 2011, the MAC Girls hostel has worked towards the goal of providing its boarders with an academic, activity-filled and a secure atmosphere. The hostel presently is an abode to fifty outstation students.Working with a commitment to provide holistic development to the boarders of the Girls' hostel, the hostel committee ensures a fair balance between work and play. Several sporting activities like badminton, carom, cycling etc. are organized from time-to-time which lead to a healthy mind and body.
The Training and Placement Centre or MAC TPC , is a Students Body, which handles both training and placements at Maharaja Agrasen College, University of Delhi The centre not only interacts with the corporate world through various avenues and works on strengthening Industry Relations, but also trains students, making them competitive enough before entering into the corporate world. The Training and Placement Centre works to provide the students with the best opportunities In the market, before they become proud graduates in their respective fields, and also continuously strive to establish Maharaja Agrasen College as the institute of choice for folios of various industries.
