Named after the great national poet, Namakkal Kavignar Ramalingam Pillai, the Institution was established in the year, 1969 to serve the noble cause of shaping young women into skilled, responsible, and socially conscious citizens with a strong cultural base. Accredited with "A" Grade by NAAC, (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) the Institution has been in the forefront of women's education for nearly five decades. Sprawling over 20 acres, with serene atmosphere and spiritual ambience, the Institution caters to the needs of nearly 2100 students, studying in various Arts, Science and Commerce Courses,13 at UG level and 7 at PG level.
