Dr. Ambedkar Memorial Institute of Information Technology and Management Sciences

Set up under the aegis of Dr. Ambedkar Memorial Social, Welfare & Educational Trust and having established in the year 2001, Dr. Ambedkar Memorial Institute of Information Technology & Management Science (DAMITS) , is the only institute of its kind to provide Professional Technological Education to different segment of the society keeping in view to the socio-economic policies of the government. Ours is a full-fledged, ISO 9001:2008 Certified, AICTE approved , Govt. Recognised and University Affiliated [Biju Pattanaik University of Technology (BPUT), Odisha] Institute which stands for its value-based Management System and quality Education. Its has been highly acclaimed as one of the top B-Schools of our State for the last few years. It has become a centre of hoop and aspiration for the Tribal and Economically backward students. DAMITS is the only Institute in the state of Odisha which has been allotted with 120 intake capacity for MCA & 60 intake capacity for MBA Course in the year of its inception in consideration to our excellent infrastructure and potential for growth.

Library: Since Library is an integral part of an Institute as well as a learning centre, the management has set up the library with a wide range of Text Books, Reference Books, National & International Journals, E-Jounals , Magazines, Periodicals, News Papers to fulfill the needs of the students. An Air-conditioned Digital Library has been set up to keep staff and students updated with global trend. There are more than 300 CD books, videos and host of reading materials from industries of repute. The library has round the clock reading room facility.
Corporate Training Lab: Corporate Training Wing of DAMITS is 1 of it's kind amongst educational Institutions in Odisha, that specializes in imparting sure-success oriented customized training to corporate executives, trainers, promotion aspirants, job seekers and students in the fields of Group Dynamics, Value Engineering, Quality Management, People Skills, MIS Management, Soft Skills, Job Interview Preparations, Time Management, Shop-Floor Management, Living Skills and so on.
Conference Hall: The Institute has a well furnished huge conference hall with a capacity of 1000 audience with inbuilt LCD facility and AC provision.
Seminar Hall: We have a spacious, scientifically designed and well furnished Seminar Hall with provision of LCD ,White Board and inbuilt AC arrangement. The Institute conducts departmental, National & International Seminars, Workshops and conferences regularly to provide opportunities to the students to enhance their confidence and keep abreast with latest changes. Professionals and experts are invited to sensidise the students.
Computer Lab: The institute has a state of the art computer lab covering the area of 4000 sq fts. it is equipped with 150 Nos of hi-speed latest computers loaded with relevant software connected through LAN with 24 hours Internet facility (4mbps).
