Aurora's Scientific and Technological Institute (ASTI) was established in the year 2003 with the name Church Institute of Technology as a constituent college of Aurora Consortium under the patronage of Church Educational Society. Located in Aushapur, Ghatkesar, on the Warangal Highway, it is 20 kms from Uppal and 25 kms from Secunderabad Railway Station. The calm and serene atmosphere of the well laid out College campus, far away from the distractions and noise of the city provides a perfect setting for an undisturbed teaching and learning experience.The College started its operations with three B. Tech. courses in EEE, ECE and CSE with an intake of 180 students and has expanded since then. The year 2005 saw its first expansion when the ECE course capacity was enhanced to 120 and an additional course in Bio Medical Engineering was introduced. In the year 2006, the intake was further increased with the CSE course capacity being enhanced to 120 and an additional IT course was also introduced. The year 2007 saw the introduction of Aeronautical Engineering. The current total intake is 876.
Transport Facilities: For the convenience of Students and Faculty members, the college operates a fleet of 4 buses from every corner of the twin cities.
Canteen Facilities: ollege provides excellent canteen facility for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian eaters in separate enclosures. A fast-food outlet is also attached to the canteen, serves delicious non-vegetarian and vegetarian food at reasonable prices.
Sports and Games: hysical education is an integral part of education. It helps in developing the physical fitness and social efficiency of an individual. The objectives of physical education are organic development, neuro-muscular coordination, interpretative development and emotional development. The concept of total education will be complete only when there is a proper and balanced blend of mental and physical quality activities.
