Central Library: The Central Library of the Kommuri Pratap Reddy Institute of Technology (KPRIT) was established in the year 2008. The library has a rich collection of Books, National and International Journals, Technical and other Magazines, CD ROMs on different engineering subjects. This Library follows open access system; student & faculty library card based circulation process and OPAC Literature Search. The college central library timings during working days & Sundays is from 9.00 AM – 6.00 PM. The central Library in the college provides facilities to edify the research for faculty /students for seeding research work.
Sports and Games: Physical fitness plays an important role in developing the overall personality of a student since a physically balanced student is mentally balanced too. KPRIT equally emphasizes the need to develop physical activities and encourages Sports and games making it an integral part of the curriculum various sports facility is provided to the students within the campus. Various sports competitions such as inter departmental, Inter collegiate, etc help in developing team spirit among students. Their interpersonal relationship is enhanced a very healthy manner. Students are provided with honours like medals, trophies and certificates. The Games & Sports Cell shall be responsible for all the sports and games related activities within and outside campus concerned with the college. The coordinator of the Games & Sports Cell shall organize, coordinate and execute all the sports and games related activities both within as well as outdoor of the college.
Cafeteria: KPRIT has an excellent cafeteria for students, guest as well as faculty. The aesthetically built cafeteria building, with 3000 sft built up area, can accommodate 200 people at a time so that many students can have food simultaneously without waiting for someone to make room. Lots of open places have been left around the canteen making it a favorite hangout spot for all the students.
Transport Facility: The college operates its own buses, in10 routes for the convenience of the students and faculty. College run buses to pick up students and faculty covering every corner of the twin cities on payment basis. The numbers of routes are getting enhanced every year based on the requirement of students and staff. Apart from the college buses, the APSRTC operates bus service in the morning and evening routes to the college from city and from college to city.
Computer Center: Information Technology is an indispensable part of technical education today. With more than 120 workstations & over 50 software packages, our IT Centre provides the necessary platform to make our students industry-ready. The high speed Wi-Fi allows the students to surf the web sphere without any hurdles.
