Atpadi College, Atpadi was established in 1969 by the Atpadi Education Society. The College campus is located on Atpadi Pandharpur state highway and is adjourned to the city and Govt. offices like Court and Tahasil office. The vast playground can always be seen full of students playing and sporting. It offers to students all facilities that enhance allround development of the students.As a tribute to the great work & contribution of Shrimant Babasaheb Deshmukh in the field of education, co-operation sector, social reforms,politics & upliftment of the poor especially in Atpadi Taluka, Managment Council of Atpadi Education Society, Atpadi made a resolution to chang the name of Atpadi College, Atpadi as Shrimant Babasaheb Deshmukh Mahavidyalaya,Atpadi.
Gymkhana:The Gymkhana of the college with a body of teachers and physical Director conducts various sports activities, arranges training programmes with the help of expert and coaches for the enhancement in the performance of students.
Library:Our college has a rich Library having excellent collection of reference books, text books, Periodicals, Newspapers, Diwali issues and Competitive exam books. Students should make use of library books for updating their knowledge improving all round personality to be competitive in their fields / discipline / subject.
