In the case of science students - Total marks obtained in Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics / Biology / Geology plus highest marks obtained in any one of the subjects Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics / Biology / Geology plus 20 marks for those having Geology as an optional subject.; Humanities students with Geology / Geography as optionals - Marks obtained in geology / Geography X 2 + 20 marks for pupils selected Geology under part III.
