The School of basic and applied sciences at G.G.S Indraprastha university is equipped to carry out both teaching and research through its various departments namely Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Nanoscience and Engineering Physics. The school endeavors to impart education of fundamentals so that students can well appreciate the intricacies of day to day problems and attempt to solve applied problems.
The well equipped laboratories of the school are being used by university students to carry out experiments to verify some fundamental concepts being taught to them. These laboratories are also expected to be a model for the affiliated colleges.
