Karpaga Vinayaga Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Center, Maduranthagam popularly called as KIMS, is spread over 63 acres of land on NH-45 (GST Road) at Maduranthagam catering medical, allied medical , dental , nursing and other paramedical courses at one place.Medical college was seeded in the year 2007 and was executed in the year 2009. It has the limit of admissions to 100 seats per year for UG from 2009 and maximum of 2 seats for PG since 2012.KIMS is situated in wide spread area of 25 acres of Land with more than 250 villages surrounding it. It is easily accessible to near by villages as many number of public transport is available from and to our Campus

It is a learning centre for all students and staff members to make the best use of the library that has been carefully built up since the inception of the college.
EDUSAT E-LEARNING: The Centre for Faculty Development of Anna University, Chennai conducts the ANNA EDUSAT live interactive audio-video lecture programmes transmitted through KU-Band provided by ISRO, Bangalore. Down linking facilities from satellite have been provided to Karpaga Vinayaga College of Engineering and Technology.
