Bhawabhuti Mahavidyalaya (BMV) was established in 1969 in the then Bhandara District (now Gondia District) of Maharashtra State by the Bhawabhuti Shikshan Sanstha. It is affiliated to Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University. Its aim is to empower the educationally backward and disadvantaged rural population by imparting general liberal education in Arts, Commerce and Science subjects with stress on value of humanism, secularism and Nationalism.
