Government Agrasen College was established by Agrasen Seva Samti, Bilha on 15th Nov, 1984, keeping in mind the need of higher education of this rural area. It is located nearly 25km away from district headquarter of Bilaspur on Bilaspur-Raipur National Highway. Spread in an area of nearly 16 acre is a co-educational college and offers Undergraduate Course in all the three streams viz. Science, Arts and Commerce and Postgraduate Course in five subject viz. Commerce, Political Science, Hindi, Sociology and Economics. The college is affiliated to Bilaspur University, Bilaspur. It follows the curriculum designed and decided by the Govt. of Chhattisgarh.
Library : Govt. Agrasen College has a separate and well maintained library having more than eighteen thousand reference and text books in different subjects. Books are available for students as well as for faculty members.
Hostel Facility
One hostel is available for girls only.
