In the year 1966-67, College started with a Diploma course in pharmacy. Our College is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, approved by State Government, P.C.I and A.I.C.T.E Our college is located in Raichur city, which is a district head quarters with about three-lakh population.It is well connected by rail and road. It is on Delhi – Bangalore, Mumbai-Madras, Ahmedabad – Bangalore, railway main line.It is around 200 k.m. from Hyderabad.

Eligibility
Minimum requirements for admission to the Bachelor Course in Pharmacy are as follows: Physics, Chemistry, Maths or Biology in any of the following examinations : 1] Candidates should have passed the 2 year P.U.C.Examination of Karnataka. P.U.C. Board or an equivalent examination of any other approved Board or university with minimum 50% marks in any combination comprising Physics, Chemistry, Maths (PCM) or Physics, Chemistry, Biology(PCB) or Physics, Chemistry, Maths & Biology. 2] In the case of SC/ST, group-A the minimum requirement in percentage of marks for the admission to B.Pharm course shall be 40% in combination. Or 3] Final D.Pharm examination conducted by an authority approved by the Pharmacy council of India with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in all subjects of Final D.Pharm
