The Indian Polytechnic college was established in the year 2007 vide G.O.M.S.No.186 dated 14.06.2007 approved by AICTE and comes under the functional control of the Directorate of Technical Education. This college is established with all modern facilities and equipments to suit the nature of the particular course. There are spacious and well furnished classrooms, workshops and Civil, Electronics, Electrical and Computer laboratories. Well- experienced and qualified teachers are steering each department and obtaining cent percent results, every year. The learning is centered on real life experiences by arranging trips and imparting in-plant training to the students. Regularly seminars are also conducted by prominent speakers and eminent professors from various institutions and industries. TIPC is dedicated to imparting quality education and discipline to young students by training them technically profound and skill oriented to meet the industrial requirements and sculpting them ethically sound, to lead the nation to prosperity. The Central Library in the campus is housed in a vast and extensive air conditioned Reading hall and reference hall. It has plenty of spaces for stock hall, reading hall and Periodicals hall. There is a separate reading and lending section which has a seating Capacity of 100 students.

In Placement cell we recommend names of fresh diploma students for placement when requested by Government department / private organisations / companies. We arrange campus interviews for the direct recruitment of final year students. With the active co-operation of the students, we help them to contact various organisations (both public and private) and arrange for in plant training during winter / summer vacations.
