Kanaka Manjari Women's College has been started in the year 1981 on the edge of sacred river Baitarani under the patronage of the people of the locality and the educationists to spread women education in this backward area.
Library: The College has a Library from the beginning of the institution. It is growing every year under the patronization of the authorities concerned.
Hostel Facility
There is a general Ladies Hostel in the College premises since 1983.
Scholarship Facility
There is a Student's Aid Fund with the object of rendering financial assistance to deserving student. The Principal appoints a Committee from among the members of the teaching staff to select students for such aid. However, the Principal reserves the right of rendering such assistance to deserving students.
