The remuneration of the ITI graduates depends mainly on their trades. Most of them are appointed as apprentices and during the apprentice period, the candidate will be paid a fixed amount as stipend per month as per rules of the company. Majority of the company/ organisation prefer ITI graduates with work experience.
Depending on their trades, the initial pay scale may vary accordingly : Technicians/ Mechanics (Rs.6000/- to 10000/-); Fitter (Rs.4000/- to 6000/-); Welder (Rs.4500/- to 6000/-); Tool and Die Maker (Rs.5000/- to 8000/-) and so on.
